That’s why, when you come to us, you’ll receive personalized advice from our experienced bike fitters during an in-depth session. For us, it’s not just about your seating position. We see this as just one part of the overall system. That’s why we always conduct a pedaling and posture analysis at the same time. So you can enjoy your beloved hobby in a more relaxed way and without discomfort. Seating Position, Foot Placement, and Posture Analysis
You can achieve optimal performance through aseat position, pedaling, and posture analysis. With helpful tips on these topics, the analysis takes about an hour, and in addition to a complete seat position adjustment, you’ll receive valuable information on:
- Saddle position and saddle type
- Crank length
- Shoe position, foot position
- Stem length and handlebar position

What can I expect from a bike fitting at Tempo Sport?
We rely on our years of experience, our highly trained eye, and open communication with the athlete. Every person is different, which is why we provide personalized care. No flashy laser shows or the misleading precision of excessive data. With us, bike fitting involves adjusting your seating position, always tailored to your intended use, any physical discomfort you may have, and your comfort preferences. An important part—and this is where we stand out from most other fittings—is that we work with you on your pedaling efficiency. In addition to your seating position, this also has a lot to do with understanding and effectively applying proper pedaling technique. We implement this together with you. After all, what good is the best seating position if you can’t transfer that power to the road?
Why doesn't Tempo Sport make use of computer programs, video recordings, and performance measurement?
Not only do we have a highly trained eye and extensive experience working with countless athletes, but we also don’t see the direct benefit of most measurement data. For one thing, every person is different, has a different athletic background, and has different requirements for their seating position (comfort, aggressive racing position, etc.). Furthermore, before-and-after measurements often don’t make sense, since you first have to get used to a new position. But even more importantly, our experience has shown time and again that the greatest benefit comes from correctly implementing an efficient pedaling technique. You must master this first, and an immediate measurable effect would be hard to observe.
What results can I expect from a bike fitting at Tempo Sport?
After countless bike fittings—which, incidentally, we’ve had the privilege of conducting with various top athletes—the most common feedback is that athletes ride more efficiently and notice a difference in this regard, especially during training and competition. Of course, we also assist you with seating issues, questions regarding comfort on the bike, or basic position adjustments. However, we rely not on a computer program but on our experience. Our focus is on helping clients achieve their individual goals. And above all, we always consider the complete package of seating position, equipment, and pedaling technique. This sets our service apart from many others.

I went for a ride today on the bike you set up yesterday. And it wasn't just any workout—it was a fast double session: 1 hour on the bike, including 10 km at full speed, followed by a jog.
Well, René, riding the bike was amazing: the position was aggressive yet extremely comfortable, no tension in my back or the back of my neck—simply brilliant! And I really focused on pushing hard, so when I switched to the bike, my legs felt completely fresh.

In April of this year, I came to see you for a bike fit. It’s been a good two months since then, and during that time I’ve really focused on your tips during my cycling training—whether it’s my aerodynamic position, head posture, or pedaling form. I’ve largely gotten rid of the persistent neck pain I used to experience during long rides!
