Swiss Side Performance Night
On Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 p.m. to approximately 7:30 p.m., a special session will be held with experts from Swiss Side. Using the new Swiss Side Performance Platform, they’ll use an example to demonstrate what ideal pacing looks like on the Rappi bike course. So questions like: “How hard should I push on the steep climbs? Is it better for me to “push” on the straights or on the descents, or should I ride as consistently as possible? Or should I conserve energy on the flat sections for the climbs?” We hear these and similar questions almost every day. Swiss Side can answer them with scientific backing, helping you get the most out of the cycling course. We ran the test using the tool: Compared to the strategy of “maintaining the same wattage consistently, regardless of whether it’s a climb or a flat section with headwinds or tailwinds,” we were able to shave off several minutes with an adjusted pacing strategy. These considerations are fascinating for everyone, whether you’re an amateur athlete or a pro. Because they also give you a sense of when it’s worth pushing hard and how to handle wind conditions. Aerodynamic aspects also play a major role here. And who is better suited than the aero specialist Swiss Side to advise you accordingly?
After the presentation, there will be an extended Q&A session!
Registration is not required. However, we ask everyone to arrive on time.
