Tempo-Sport: Your Neoprene Specialist with Many Benefits
We offer over 20 different models from leading manufacturers in a total of over 100 sizes at our store in Horgen. We’d be happy to advise you in person at our store, where you can also test the wetsuits right away in nearby Lake Zurich. Or you can join our test swims, which we’re offering in March and April: Neoprene Test Tour 2026
When you purchase a wetsuit from Tempo Sport, you automatically receive an exclusive Wetsuit Service Card that offers the following benefits:
– Free repairs for small tears in your wetsuit at our in-house workshop
– We offer repairs for larger tears through our qualified partner at cost price (plus shipping)
– Replacement wetsuit for the duration of the repair (subject to availability)
– Processing warranty claims

In addition to these exclusive services, there are other reasons why it’s worth coming to Tempo Sport to buy a wetsuit:
Selection:
Not everyone is built exactly the same way. So it stands to reason that not every wetsuit will fit everyone perfectly. Every manufacturer designs their suits with a different cut, and the neckline in particular can vary significantly. Every manufacturer also has its own specialties. In short: You can only be sure to find the right product for you if you have a choice among several manufacturers. By the way, we offer wetsuits in all price ranges! We carry wetsuits for triathlon and open water swimming, as well as thermal suits for training and SwimRun suits.
Expertise:
We can say this with confidence: You won’t find another specialty store in Switzerland with such extensive expertise in swim wetsuits. We’ve been active in this field for about 20 years, conduct numerous test swims every year, and advise countless customers on their wetsuit purchases. And most importantly: We swim in the suits ourselves and know the pros and cons of every model! Thanks to active communication with our team athletes and manufacturers, we’re constantly able to influence product development. You can find the most important tips and tricks about wetsuits here.
Try Neo:
At our store, you can not only try on a wetsuit in the fitting room but also test it in the water. You can either get advice from our staff and then try out several models in nearby Lake Zurich (within walking distance), or you can join one of our test swims .
Repair service:
Every wetsuit can develop a small or large defect at some point—small tears, torn seams, etc. No problem: We repair minor defects right here in the store (free of charge for all wetsuits purchased from us), and for larger repairs, we work with a tailor who specializes in wetsuits and can fix almost anything perfectly.
Accessories:
We offer what is likely the largest selection of open-water (and pool swimming) gear in Switzerland: from neoprene swim caps and training suits to countless triathlon and open-water goggles, rescue systems and buoys, as well as neoprene gloves and socks—and much, much more. Expert advice included.
Neoprene: a second skin for competition and training
Protection against the cold is the primary purpose of swimming wetsuits. The added buoyancy, which makes swimming easier, is a nice bonus that many have come to appreciate. There have been significant advancements in wetsuit technology in recent years. Today’s modern suits are in no way comparable to the older models, which were often simply “stripped-down” surf wetsuits. Modern swim wetsuits are extremely flexible, especially in the shoulder area, and feature a special inner material that absorbs hardly any water, preventing the suit from becoming heavy as a ton. Additionally, more and more features are being incorporated, such as special panels for better grip on the forearms or support in the hip area to enable a more efficient swimming stroke. And development continues. Every year, improved versions or new models hit the market. We stay on top of things for you and ensure that our selection is always up to date.
