Horgen Road Bike Meet: April–September
Every Tuesday evening in Horgen: Our road bike meetup is open to anyone who enjoys a nice ride on a road bike, whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider.
Would you like to go on a nice road bike ride with like-minded people? Are you tired of always riding the same routes alone? Then our road bike meetup is the perfect place for you. Starting April 21, road cyclists and triathletes will meet every Tuesday evening in Horgen for a group ride. The meetups are led by an experienced team of leaders.
Road BikeMeetup= Social Ride.
The Road Bike Meetup is open to everyone; it’s a social ride. That means we adjust the pace to suit the participants (“No drop ride”).
The routes vary so that we can explore new, lesser-known paths (each about 2 hours long, on hilly terrain). To participate, you must
- think you can handle riding a road bike for 2 to 3 hours at most, even on a route with elevation gain.
- Please arrive with a road-worthy racing bike and a helmet
Whenever possible, we’ll stop for a coffee break at the end of the ride. Participation is free, and no registration is required. But please be there at least 5 minutes before the start. What’s in it for you?
- Have fun with like-minded people
- Discover new routes
- Learn and improve your group riding skills
- Motivation for regular cycling
