It doesn't actually take much to learn good running form. In just a few minutes, we'll show you what to look out for. It's not rocket science—anyone can do it.
For about 15 years, we’ve been offering several running workshops each week. We also work with runners every day in our store. At the same time, we keep hearing the desire to improve running form. Our tip: Before you book a running technique seminar or do more advanced technique exercises (e.g., running drills or coordination training), it makes sense to first master the basics of proper running form.
Carlos Cuenca—himself a former elite runner and now a coach—shows you in the video what you need to keep in mind. Our experience: Anyone who follows and applies these principles is already very well equipped in terms of running technique—even without complicated technical training. Of course, these advanced exercises make sense too, but everything in its own time: principles—running technique exercises to solidify your form—followed by advanced training such as ladder drills, coordination exercises, and jump training.
