The past few weeks have likely been the most exciting of their professional lives so far for two members of our team in Thalwil: Simone Birrer and Ruben Berchtold were busy with the final exams of their apprenticeships right up until June. But their hard work has truly paid off. Both have successfully completed their apprenticeships and are now receiving their diplomas. Simone is receiving her EFZ as a retail specialist in sports sales, and Ruben his EFZ as a bicycle mechanic. We are truly proud of both of them and congratulate them from the bottom of our hearts. And we are 100% convinced that such serious, demanding, long-term vocational apprenticeships remain important for Switzerland, which is why we have continued to train apprentices over the past few years. Sometimes this means extra work for us as a training company, and at times it takes a bit of patience 😉 But at the end of the day, the positive aspects far outweigh the negatives, and we consider ourselves more than lucky to be able to work with such wonderful young people. Simone will continue to actively support our team with her vast expertise, while Ruben will embark on a “journey” this fall to gain experience at another company.
We wish them both all the best in their professional lives, whether at Tempo-Sport or anywhere else in the world.
